Before joining Yo Cabs, I was working with Mega Cabs as DGM (Operations) and was instrumental in turning things around in operations.
I am not new to the hospitality industry. During my tenure with Hertz I learnt the basis of taxi service operations, but acquired thorough knowledge of running a radio taxi service in Mega cabs.
I can say with pride that at Yo Cabs I was given full hand in establishing the operations and state-of-the-art technology, besides setting up other infrastructure. I have full freedom of executing my creativity and that has given me the major thrust in uplifting the spirit of other employees and imparting the best practices and culture amongst our organisation.
My horizon has increased manifold and today I am at a juncture where I can unleash many other interesting aspects, in making this organisation number one in the Radio taxi business across Pan India.
"I came from an Automobile Industry and was little sceptical in adjusting to relatively different system of Hospitality industry. But to my utter surprise I never felt an inexperienced campaigner, due a good work culture and systems established in the company.
Currently, I am looking after the fleet maintenance aspect of the company and have been given full hand in dealing the same. I feel good to be part of the team who are equally involved in the major aspects of the company.
This has not only led to an attachment towards the company, but also inculcated a sense of responsibility towards achieving the desired goals of the company.
"I was working with Mega cabs but always felt the need to have freedom in planning and executing the work. At that juncture, Yo Cabs provided me the fillip in achieving my goal by enlarging my scope of work area, thereby enhancing my skills.
As an in charge of Operations, and overseeing the routine functions, I am enjoying the challenges, which keeps knocking your door everyday and you are always on your toes to tackle them efficiently.
As a team member, I am expected to keep smooth functioning of taxi services besides mentoring our drivers the hallmark of our company. I strive to achieve the balance by looking into the mental and behavioural aspect of our chauffeurs, but also achieving the desired results expected out of them.
I joined Yo Cabs, from an International IT Brand in Customer Service. Here I was given an opportunity to understand, design and setting up of the processes and work procedures for customer care department.
Beginning with Customer Service, I am now a part of small IT team which runs the company. Although it's a challenge to design and execute the foolproof systems, but the mentoring and support provided by the top management has always helped me in achieving my goal.
Initially it took time to adjust to the new environment, but once everything got set up, it has become easy in handling things. I sincerely believe that under the able guidance of the top management I will enhance my skills and work towards customizing and streamlining the systems.
